I am Manickam Kathiresan ( born 26 September 1998) the CEO of Embellish Event Management company. I started my career with few drawing design patterns which were greatly inspired by many people. I gradually started with a small design team who possessed a huge amount of talent in design and explored them further. Also, I am fond of Event Managements hence I started on some real projects. In a short span of time, my interest grew deeply in it which led to the establishment of my own Event Management Company at the very early age of 17. I love travelling to explore many new places and also I am great food lover who is interested in tasting various authentic foods in different places.
Hobbies and Passion:
My passion is to become a VJ and an Actor in the leading role. I desire to start a movie career as one of the Comedians because of my top notched sense of humor. I work with a team of 6 people in my designing team and a team of 10 people in the Event management activities. I am an extremely simple man and does not prefer to have hierarchy in my work team. Thus I have a jovial set up in the office and treat the whole team equally and maintain a friendly environment. My team is full of youngsters as I believe fresh and young people always possess a raw talent, an immense interest and sincere dedication towards the career.
I also closely work with Social Welfare Organizations, Blue Cross..etc., to rescue any humans/animals at the time of natural calamities/serious conditions. This work has really made me understand that it is necessary for a human to help one other by giving a hand to uplift during any uncertain or unstable conditions. I am very fond of children and would go to any extent for their education or personal growth. Hence, I am a part of 'DULKAL' team which is children friendly community library exclusively set up in the outskirts of Chennai and tribal schools for the children and community. The motto of this team is to quench the thirst of children and the community to enhance the love for reading and writing. The team aims to fulfil APJ Abdul Kalam's dream vision 2020.This company would set up the program in the villages where there is a need in educational books .A 2 day camp is organized where the team along with me involve in doing a down-to-earth work of cleaning the campus and painting them to look attractive for the children to walk around . They also take an extra effort to occupy a room for arranging the books having cartoon painting on the walls which makes the students develop a passion towards the environment and the library. The team and I also closely watch the utilization of books by students as a regular process. We do this program on a monthly basis for the welfare of students and the country.
As a part-time job, I have started a vibe called 'Sadharna Manidargal Patri Oru Naal' ( A day with Common people) which acts as the voice for different people to share certain instances of their lives which has motivated them at some point. Mostly, I do this part of work with children as they get inspired by even the smallest of what they observe/hear. This part of initiative taken by me has grown confidence over me and also the children who are fond of me. I also possess a good sense of humor where at times I cartoon infront of small kids and involve them in my conversations.
I have worked with many channels as VJ. Also, I started going live on Instagram to collaborate with different people sharing their ideas and their journey experiences. My team and I work for many movie promotions by visiting the colleges to gain popularity for the show and cast. I also conduct many ticketed shows across the country for the growth of my company. Apart from all these ,I also organize music band shows and marriage events. The Embellish Design team works with web design which includes interior designs, logos, wall arts and wall painting. This was the primary start engine for this entire success. Using this excellent skillset, My team and I are soon going to publish our own Comic books. Along with one of my close friends, I am planning to open a restaurant with unique and creative concept which help the people to enjoy their time besides their heavy work.
Life Experiences :
Apart from all the victories that I have gained, I have also fallen down many times to reach this point at a very stage. I started my career at the age of 18 apart while I was pursuing my engineering degree in one of the reputed organizations at Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Though I possess a variety of excellent skills, I fell a step back in the studies. I used to sleep a lot in my college days and was discouraged mostly. I had many back logs in the exams as I was not that interested in the studies. I excelled in design which made me show a less attention than before. Although I was a very good student till my 12th grade, I was not that successful in my undergraduate degree programme. Therefore,I am continuing to pursue my bachelor degree in correspondence.
I was scratching things in the notepad which eventually had turned my life. The design which I did to pass time had helped other people to buy those design and appreciate my work. I finally realized that I have something in me to take this to next step. This is how I started my carrier working with group of 4-5 members. I used to visit many Event Managers to work and to acquire deeper knowledge.
I am a single parent child. My dad reached the heavenly adobe leaving my family when I was just 18. Post which I was brought-up by my Mother who strived with utter tough times to nurture me for what I am today. This led me to respect Women a lot and help anybody who is suffering. Also ,I was criticized at many places where few of the projects were dropped-off assuming I cannot do it without my father's financial support. But I did not stop my work inspite of all these hurdles and continued to work as hard to reach the point where I stand now. Today I am not only successful with my work but also have a positive reach to the audience as well as media.

Achievements :
In 2020, Covid left a huge impact on Embellish. Inspite of all the tough times we successfully conducted 200+ online shows on zoom calls. All of them had a good response from various platforms. I commenced a new sector called EMBELLISH MEDIANEST which concentrates on movie promotion like SITA RAMAM. We have started working will many multinational brands such as Oreo, Dark Fantasy, Paytm, IIFL Finance and ITC groups. Our first honourable moment was when VADIVELU SIR started working with us. We now manage all of his business arrangements. It was a dream come true when I opened my office in Chennai in June 2022. I always wanted to have a place of my own in this city and I’m so happy that I achieved it with my hardwork. My team of 10 has now grown upto 25 . We have also started celebrity management and casting for television shows and commercials. We have started widely working towards Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu industries and almost everywhere in TamilNadu. We have started working for Sathya Raj, Ramesh Aravind, Mrinalini Ravi and many others since 2022. We are going to be extending our roots to Bangalore this May 2023, hoping for it to soon reach Mumbai as well.
